Pretty Finds

Found these metal trays at IKEA last year, and pulled them out again for a party the other day. They were $4 each. Such a great deal and so pretty for entertaining. Last summer I found matching cylindrical candle holders in two sizes and used them out in the garden in the evening.

I love finding beautiful things that are so reasonably priced. White is a great colour for items like this because it can go in any direction; you could use them in a black/white theme, a light floral theme, Xmas red/white or garden green. A while ago I had them nestled on a table draped in black organza.

Setting a table is another form of creating art. Drawing or painting with dishes, linens, flowers….
